We are 'not-for-profit' community interest company (C.I.C.) that loves seeing people achieve their dreams, whatever they may be. We strive to help and inspire people of all ages from young adults upwards; regardless of ability level, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, religion, beliefs or financial wealth. And our greatest satisfaction is seeing people achieve things they didn’t believe they were capable of themselves.

We have four core beliefs:

  1. Running is about much more than fast times, splits and set distances. It’s an adventure - both physically and in self-discovery.

  2. If you’re up for an adventure, the chances are you’ll discover you’re capable of much more than you ever thought you were.

  3. It should be an inclusive activity that anyone can enjoy, with huge benefit to mental health as well as physical fitness.

  4. It’s not about us, it’s about you and what inspires you! Our job is just to help connect you with the people and places that will create the inspiration.

Being based in Derbyshire, the home of the Peak District and the National Forest, we have a particular passion for getting out onto the trails and hills. And providing opportunities for people, whatever their level of experience or fitness, to run in some of the UK’s most spectacular locations.

We’re also extremely passionate about the environments that we explore and having a positive impact on them. We work in partnership with the Peak District National Park Foundation and National Forest Company, and continually seek opportunities to help protect the places we enjoy for everyone, forever!

We're delighted that from the start of 2023 we have taken responsibility for supporting the Jog Derbyshire network. You can read more about what that means here

What People Say

Trail Running Weekend

“What an amazing weekend spent in beautiful surroundings and in great company. This weekend has opened up a whole new chapter in my life. Bring on the next one!”

Guided Fell Run

Andy’ s guided run included a route covering various terrain with breath taking scenery. The route was designed to cope with multiple scenarios including injury, fitness and a stop for tea and cake. Andy’s conversation can include wide ranging subjects that supports a holistic approach to running. It was an inspiration experience that will be repeated.!”

Trail & Ultra Workshop

“Andy is friendly and welcoming, clearly knows his stuff, explains things clearly but what I think sets him apart from a lot of coaches is that he is equally as interested in talking to and helping people who are new to running, who are the 'conversational' (not slow!) runners as much as the elite crowd of ultra runners and marathon champions. He helps all abilities . If you're looking to get involved in trail runs in a friendly environment or are looking for coaching advice to then don't hesitate to contact Andy!!”

Peak District Ultra Race

“I have nothing but utmost respect. Their approach was 100% participant centred, with meticulous detail in their planning. The aid stations were the best I have ever experienced with the most enthusiastic and motivating Marshal. I will be looking carefully at their other events as I know I will be guaranteed top notch service.!”
