Men's Movement Monday
The next meet-up of our new Men's Movement Monday sessions.
Our next “Men’s Movement Monday” session is on the evening of Monday 9th June 2025, and will be based from Hick's Lodge.
On this meet up, which is part of the Feel Good in the Forest programme, there will be an option of either a chatty run of around 6-miles or a walk and talk of 3.5-miles.
The aim of these sessions is to create a safe, non-judgemental and non-competitive space that helps men with their mental health and physical wellbeing. This being through the simple acts of getting out for some physical activity in nature and chatting to/connecting with others.
It’s open to anyone, you just need to identify as a male, be happy to jog or walk the above distances, not be fussed about getting your shoes a bit dirty if it's been wet.
Initially these sessions are being held monthly.
How it develops will be very much informed by the wants and needs of the men who getting involved.
It’s important to stress though; that having a good level of physical fitness is not a condition of entry. We’re just as keen to support those who are only beginning to think about getting into better shape.
