Wayfarer: "Kind Er Old School"

Armed with a ‘Derbyshire Wayfarer’ ticket, we’ll be hopping on the train and heading up into the Peak District to tackle a challenging point to point route that’ll explore some of the lesser-known bits of the park’s highest hill. We’ll then finish at a pub for refreshments before the train home - perfect!

Although there will be some flexibility on the route if conditions are harsher than we’d normally expect on a winter day in the hills, expect a committing, challenging route and no lenience on kit requirements.

We’ll be meeting at Derby train station in good time to catch the 08:11 train; changing in Sheffield onto 09:14 train along the Hope Valley. Afterwards, we anticipate being back in Derby between 1700 & 1800.
