About the event
The pace will be chatty, steady running with hiking breaks as and when the group requires as well as regular photo breaks.Wayfarer Lites are ideal if you're newer to running, coming back from injury or illness or just want an adventure that's a little shorter than our usual Wayfarers.
Exact meeting location will be sent in confirmation email after booking. Meeting in Tutbury at 9:15am ready for a prompt 9:30am start.
Heading out towards The Priory Church of St Mary - which is already very near to Tutbury Castle - we will get a much better view of the castle as we run out into the coutryside. From there, there’s a gradual climb as we make our way to our next point of interest, the Fauld Crater. You can see for yourself the impact The Fauld Explosion made... a crater some 300 feet deep made 79 years ago.
