About the event
An exclusive trip for an epic day of expertly guided hiking in the spectacular mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia), with minibus transport included from the Derby area.
An opportunity to explore and (hopefully) summit some 3000ft mountains in the Glyderau range, while gaining plenty of insights from 2 experienced Mountain Leaders. Â
Expect to be hiking for 6-8 hours on terrain that will often be challenging, with plenty of steep up and downs, and rocks galore. However, the emphasis will be on taking in the awe inspiring volcanic landscapres rather than pushing the pace. Â
There are just 14 places available as we want to keep the leader to hiker ratio low, and because there only limited seats on the bus.
We'll aim to leave Derby around 6am and have at least 1 additional pick up on the outskirts of the city. Exact arrangements will be finalised once we know the location of those joining us.
Please note - NOT dog friendly: Due to the terrain and transport arrangements we cannot take dogs on this trip.Â
