Meeting at 6:15pm ready for a prompt 6:30pm start. 

Matt the Mountain Bear is hosting this evening walk in the woods. The walk will take us through the ancient Shining Cliff woodland to Alderwasley before descending back through the old Ambergate Wire Works. Come join us for a lovely evening hike with the Bear.

Distance: Approximately 5 miles. We expect that the walk will take between 2 and 2.5 hours.

Please note - NOT dog friendly: Due to us wanting to soak up the ambience of the woods and local wildlife at dusk, we kindly ask that dogs are not brought to this event.

Recommended Kit: 

• Hiking boots / trail shoes
• Clothes suitable to the weather conditions
• Warm layer 
• Coat / jacket (preferably waterproof)
• Headtorch / spare batteries (Essential)
• Rucksack / running vest to carry items not being worn
• Walking / running poles (personal preference)
• Snacks / drink
• Personal First Aid kit
