Join Matt - aka Mountain Bear - for an evening that will introduce you to navigating in the dark – skills that will also serve you well if you encounter poor visibility (e.g. mist / fog / downpours) in the hills.

About the event
We'll meet in Duffield from 18:15 ready for a prompt 18:30 start. Exact meeting location will be included in your confirmation email.
On this session you can expect a walk of around 5 miles, learning and practicing skills along the way. There will also be an opportunity to debrief what you’ve learned over a drink afterwards!
Kit requirements:
- Trail trainers / walking boots
- Clothing suitable to the weather conditions (please make sure to dress warm as we'll be stopping regularly and moving slowly!)
- Waterproof coat with taped seams and hood
- Hat / gloves
- Body / chest torch OR a headtorch
- Compass
- back-pack / bumbag for items not being worn
